Natural History in Southern Arizona

Fossils

Our fossils range in age from the Cambrian Period to the Pleistocene: a half a billion years old to just 11,000 years old. You will see everything from ancient trilobites, fossil corals, and dinosaurs to Ice Age fossils of mammoths, camels, and sabertooth cats.

Minerals

Our minerals include pyrite, malachite, azurite, fluorite, and thousands of others. These specimens were assembled by miners, geologists, and hobbyist collectors from around Arizona.
